Position Summary:

Provide routine services in caring for all patients seen in the outpatient clinics. The outpatient clinics LPN utilizes knowledge, judgement and skills to assist healthcare providers in delivering care to Adirondack Health’s patients.  The LPN will provide health teaching to prevent or stabilize potential health problems and inform the patients care under the direction of registered nurses, advanced practice provider or physicians. They maintain daily functioning of the Rheumatology office according to established policies and procedures.

Educational Requirements/ Qualifications:

1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of New York. 
2. Comprehensive knowledge of nursing, health care practices and techniques in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
3. Rheumatology experience is a plus.
4. Meditech and eClinical Works experience preferred.
5. Microsoft Excel experience preferred.
6. Maintains BLS.
