Position Summary:

Professionally answer incoming internal and external calls to the switchboard. Answer patient questions as appropriate and route phone calls to the appropriate departments.

Educational Requirements/ Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Candidate must possess excellent customer service skills.
• Telephone etiquette skills are mandatory.
• Professional appearance and proper speaking skills are needed to maintain good public relations with daily contacts.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and past experiences in professional offices or health care environments is desirable.
• Must be able to multi-task.
