Position Summary:

Coordinates the immediate functions of the Microbiology department. Acts as a microbiology, molecular diagnosis, and Lab Biosafety consultant in collaboration with Laboratory Manager-All Sites, Administrative Lab Director and Laboratory Medical Director.

Educational Requirements/ Qualifications:

BS or BA in Medical Technology or Laboratory Science. Is a New York State licensed Medical Technologist. Requires seven years in depth experience in a Microbiology Department. Proven sound professional judgment and competency.

Salary Range:

$45.42 - $55.48 per hour / $94,473 - $115,398 annual equivalent
