Position Summary:

Responsible for directing, modifying and administering the therapeutic modalities of treatment as per NYS law.  The ATC aids with the restoration of patient function to prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability restricted to orthopedics.  Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.  Carries out off site Athletic Training school visits and game coverage.

Educational Requirements/ Qualifications:

 Graduation from an accredited college or university with the minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training.  Maintains certifications and license as required by NATA and New York State.
