Position Summary:   

The Pre-Registration Representative is responsible for collecting and verifying patient demographic and insurance information prior to the date of service to ensure a smooth registration process and timely reimbursement. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of patient pre-registration.

Educational Requirements/ Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must possess typing skills, computer experience, positive customer service skills, and telephone etiquette.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is desirable as well as experience in a professional office or health care environment.
• Professional appearance and proper speaking skills are needed to maintain good public relations with daily contact.
• The ability to multi-task.
