HR Business Partner

Position Summary:

As a member of the HR team the HRBP I works with assigned customer groups, consults with internal clients to develop and implement effective human resource programs, policies and initiatives designed to sustain a positive work environment. Participates as an active and involved partner in the development and execution of department-specific and organizational business plans and strategies. Actively supports other human resources departmental objectives by collaborating with other staff, particularly labor relations. Consults with, coaches, and trains leaders on how to achieve operational and strategic objectives consistent with human resource objectives for the organization. Will perform recruitment or other related duties as deemed necessary by AVP HR.

 

Educational Requirements/ Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience with and/or working knowledge of the following is required: effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; developing and maintaining collaborative, customer-oriented relationships with leadership and staff; recommending effective solutions to resolve problems or issues by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies and procedures, regulations or government law; objectively coach leadership and staff through complex difficult and emotional issues.
  2. Three (3) years of progressively responsible Human Resource experience, preferably in employee relations, with emphasis on experience in healthcare or other human service organizations.
  3. B.A. or B.S. degree is required.  Degree focus in Human Resources, Organizational Development or another related discipline is preferred. Master’s degree in business, H.R. or Organizational Design/Development preferred. Successful candidates should also hold professional certification, either as a PHR (Professional in Human Resources) or SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources), or some equivalent certification in a related human resources field preferred or be able to obtain certification within 3 years.
  4. Proven ability to effectively facilitate and influence individuals at all levels within the organization

Salary Range:

$26.00 - $33.00 per hour
